Intermittent crashing

During the CSTE training we observed intermittent crashing of the database when users attempted to perform the following tasks using a US database:

Adding an existing contact:
  1. On the Case Management-->Show Contacts screen, click "Add Contact-->Existing Contact"
  2. Type something into the search bar until NO contacts appear on the Existing Contact linelist
  3. Press Cancel
  4. Sometimes, ContactTracing.CaseView error appears. I was able to reproduce this just now on my computer.
Adding a source case:
  1. On the Case Management-->Show Source Cases screen, click "Add Source Case"
  2. [Not clear if something specific needs to happen here for the problem to occur]
  3. Press Cancel
  4. Sometimes this resulted in a crash. I have not been able to reproduce this problem on my computer.
Entering Free-Form Analysis:
  1. On the Analysis tab, select "Free-Form Analysis"
  2. Choose any one of the first three options on the list
  3. For some users this resulted in a crash. I have not been able to reproduce the error on my computer.

Resolved with changeset 110562: 17272 -- Intermittent crashing ( FIRST item only )

I could not replicate any of these crashes in version 9.5.5, but since they were all intermittent crashes I can't tell if I'm just getting lucky.
